Karel Janoušek

was born in 1933 in Litol by Lysá nad Labem
 a painter and graphic artist

A graduate of SUPŠ in Prague 1954

He devotes his time to creation of pictures, graphics, paper kupages and relief objects.
 The basic element of his works is a letter, he changes it into a symbol or a poetic term of artistic word.
 The author often uses the symbolisation of colours, numbers or common symbols. He applies his humor there  very often and always a thought.

He takes regularlypart in "Soloons", which are organized by Union of artists - Hradec Králové, whose member  he is.

He has organized several independent exhibitions in various places in the Czech Republic, among others also  in Prague, Hradec Králové, Liberec, etc.
